Breaks a lot

The point is too fine, to the point that it breaks SO easily

Great for thin strokes, Horrible mechanism

The thin pencil is amazing. However, as numerous others have mentioned, the mechanism itself is incredibly faulty. I have so much product left but I’m unable to use it because it won’t push it up.

Tip kept breaking

Although the colour was great the it kept breaking and I kept having to twist more out. Honestly it’s not worth the cost for it to be doing that

Great precision pencil colour is off

Love everything about this pencil except the colour choices. Need some cool toned options. 05 is way too warm.

Hairlike strokes look so natural

Benefit has great brow products and I love being able to get the hair like strokes with this, but if you have it twisted out more than just a bit from the tip it will absolutely break off. So I have to make sure I have the bare minimum out and twist more when needed otherwise I’m wasting product from it breaking off.

Awful

The concept is great!!! Perfect size tip. UNFORTUNATELY I can not use it because it breaks every time and I only roll up a small amount to try and avoid breakage. It still breaks. I’ve broken more off than I’ve used. Waste of hard earned money!!

Great precision, not for cool-toned brows

This is actually a great pencil and makes it incredibly easy to draw tiny strokes. It seems like most of the bad reviews are potentially exposing too much of the pencil past the protective plastic area, and would not experience the breakage if they used the pencil correctly. My only reason for knocking off one star is the shade conversion chart is misleading, and the shades are too warm. I used shade 6 of the other product (cool black) which converts to shade 5 of this pencil (interestingly enough only called shade 5 online, but is labelled warm black-brown on the box). Well spoiler alert, the pencil is too warm. It's a shame because I could see it being my new regular, as it was so easy to use and made a great brow shape.

Don't bother

I love Benefit brow pencils and I've used them for years. I thought this pencil was thin enough to fill in some of the sparse spots on my eyebrows. However, this pencil breaks so easily. Every time I used it the tip would break as soon as I pressed it on my brow. Also, it ran out super fast. I bought it on March 15 and it was gone by April 2. I didn't even use it every day. The plastic top also kept coming unscrewed from the base making it hard to twist the tip out. I think this product has potential to be good but its poor design, fragility and amount of product are not worth the price.

I was so disappointed in this product; the pencil is so thin it broke every time I used it. I actually only used it to define the details in addition to my other pencils. It literally lasted 2 weeks, and it was empty after using it 10 times.

Not worth the price

The product lasted less than a month. I used it very minimal. Not what I expected from Benefit.

Must have product for my sparse brows

The color payoff is incredible and it’s long wearing. I love the fine tip and the color is perfect. I have repurchased several times because it does run out a bit quickly but I still think it’s worth it.
