This shampoo always leaves my hair feeling incredibly clean without stripping it completely. It does a great job removing buildup from dry shampoo, styling products, and hard water, and my hair feels lighter and fresher afterward. I don’t use it every wash, but whenever my hair starts feeling weighed down, this is the one I reach for.

A must have shampoo

I received this product in exchange for this post. I really like this detox shampoo however if you have long thick hair don’t get a deluxe sample just buy the bigger bottle. It also smells nice and leaves your hair feeling clean, I highly recommend it.

Really impressed with this shampoo. It does a really good job at deep cleansing but my hair doesn’t feel stripped or dry afterwards. Scent is a little strong but it smells like the Melrose Place perfume so I like it a lot. Would buy again

I added the OUAI Detox Shampoo Deluxe Size into my routine as a clarifying step about once every week especially after using a lot of styling products dry shampoo and oils. I apply it mainly to my scalp and massage it in thoroughly then let it sit for about one minute before rinsing. I always follow with a moisturizing conditioner. After using it my hair felt extremely clean but not stripped. My scalp felt refreshed and reset and there was a noticeable difference in buildup removal. My roots felt lighter and more lifted and my lengths felt smoother once I conditioned. Once my hair dried it looked shinier and had more volume. This shampoo works really well for deep cleansing without making my hair feel dry when used correctly. It is especially helpful when my hair starts to feel weighed down or dull from product buildup. A little goes a long way and it helps extend the freshness of my wash days.

I am so in love with this detox shampoo by ouai! It has been a life saver for my hair as I work outside in construction. It cleans my hair very well and gives it a beautiful shine as well as leaving it smooth!

Finally a jumbo size!!!

My absolute favorite clarifying shampoo, I use dry shampoo and go 4-5 days between washes so this is always my first step in my hair care routine in the shower. I love the smell, gets rid of all the product and oil buildup and leaves my hair clean but not dried out! Obsessed!!!!

I love everything about Ouai, especially this detox shampoo! As a curly curl I use a lot of different products, and this shampoo makes wash day so much easier! Although it detoxes, it doesn’t strip my hair and it smells amazing.

I use the OUAI Detox Shampoo when my hair feels like it needs a full reset, especially if I’ve been using a lot of dry shampoo and my roots feel extra heavy. It’s not an every-wash shampoo for me, but more of a once-in-a-while deep clean when my hair really needs it.

This detox shampoo is non-negotiable in my routine. I even buy the biggest size because running out isn’t an option. The difference in my hair when I skip it is immediately noticeable. And the scent? It takes me straight back to getting my hair washed at my grandma’s salon as a little girl. Nostalgic, effective, and worth every penny.
