I recently tried the Sephora Rouge Blurring Matte Lipstick in shade 09 Hush Hush. Overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The color is beautiful, and it applies quite nicely with a true matte finish. However, it doesn’t look perfectly even on my lips and sometimes leaves a slightly patchy effect. In terms of staying power, I would also rate it a 4. It holds up fine during talking or daily activities, but it fades quickly after eating or drinking. On the positive side, it has no strong scent, which I really appreciate. My favorite thing is the comfortable feeling on the lips — it’s not sticky at all and feels soft and velvety, almost like I’m not wearing lipstick. Matte but not drying

This color screams fall and it super matte but not drying at all. It lasted sooo long and I’m constantly eating and drinking. It really gives your lips that blurring effect. You need this lipstick.

Has Made Me A Bigger Fan Of Mattes

So to start with I must admit, I prefer a glossy finish. But I also love Makeup, and Lip Products are definitely my biggest weakness. So although Glossy is my preference, I do switch it up and wear all types of finishes. That's why I was so excited to try this. I never thought I would use the word "vampy" but this definitely gave me a reason to. This shade gives that perfect vampy look. I have to say I absolutely love it. I think it's something you can wear throughout the year, depending on the season it may be better for night looks but either way, I also love it because it works for every skin tone. There were some other shades this came in that I thought were really beautiful as well. What I really love about this is that even though it's a Matte finish, it still feels moisturizing on my lips. I feel that is rare to find. it also gives that blurred look that we're all going for. You can put this on with not much else and make such a statement, it completes a look. This has made me want to not only use Mattes more often but also try more shades, well done again Sephora.

Beautiful

I got shade number 10 and I love it. The color is deep berry. When picking this color, I thought it would be too dark for me but when try it on, I think the shade is perfect. It is buildable so it can be as light or as dark as you would like. I like to apply one thin layer on the daily basis and 2 to 3 layers for a deeper shade when I want to glam up. The lipstick is matte but not drying at all. It feels pretty comfortable and hydrating on, almos like a lip balm. It doesn’t stay on for a long time but I don’t mind that at all.

Hydration

I am blonde, have green eyes, and a medium skin tone color, so sometimes bold lipstick can make me look not really me. So this Color 10 Not A Softy (deep, rich berry) was a great success. It looks very luxurious and suits me so well. The feel on the lips itself is very pleasant. It has a matte finish with a lightweight texture. The most important thing for me in matte lipsticks is making sure it does not have that dryness and peeling off in an hour. So it is one of that very small group of lipsticks that actually hydrate and make you feel comfortable for a long period. The brand says 10-hour hydration. I didn’t time it myself, but it was long enough for me to add it as one of my favorite lip products. I didn’t need to reapply very often. So I don’t have any negative things to say. It is a good product with an affordable price. I recommend this lipstick if you like matte good-quality lipstick and are not afraid of bold colors.

Great basic lipstick

This lipstick is pigmented enough to show up well on my darker colored lips, which I appreciate. I prefer a lighter application so I was glad that the color shows well with just one swipe. This is the color 'Not A Softy' and I really like it. The container is nice and has a clear lid for you to see the product. I would consider this to be a basic product at an affordable price. It's lipstick that doesn't do anything extra like moisturize, so the texture did feel a bit dry. You'd need to add gloss on top if you'd like a shinier look. Matte and Soft

The feel of the Sephora Collection Cloud Blurred Matte Lipstick is amusing.  The lipstick applies smoothly and feels very light on my lips.  This product felt gentle and non-pulling on my lips. The lipstick felt very comfortable and not heavy. I experienced very little transfer while drinking my morning coffee and last throughout the day.  I love the color of the 10 Not So Softy Rouge A Levres lipstick.  It's rich and not too deep.  This a lipstick I can wear throughout the year.  Also, I like the blurring effect of the lipstick because it makes my lips fuller and smooth. I can wear this lipstick by itself, which is a plus for me. When I am in a hurry. I can apply this lipstick and go.

Beautiful rich lips!

Mop I am in love with Sephora’s Cloud Lipstick in shade “Not a Softy”. The color is a rich deep berry shade that goes well with all skin tones and makes the lips look full and luscious. I am so impressed with how just one swipe delivered such a rich pigment, making my lips look so dreamy and vibrant. I am a big lover of deep shades and this shade delivered results perfectly. I used just two coats for a beautiful and deep pigment which lasted forever without bleeding or feathering. I love how light it felt on my lips just like its name “Cloud” and kept my lips feeling soft. Even though it has a matte finish, the texture is satin like and feels really creamy. I barely needed a touch up even after 6-8 hours. Just beautiful and classy!

Soft blurred lips

I love trying out different blotted lip, lip tint, blurred lip and sheer lip products. I am typically a fan of a lighter wash of color rather than full opacity and the comfort of a balm. The Cloud Blurred Matte Lipstick is really comfortable on the lips. It’s velvety, smooth and lightweight. I don’t feel like it provides a ton of moisture on its own but it definitely didn’t feel drying either. In terms of opacity, this might be more of a personal preference but I wish the first layer was more sheer and that it was buildable. There is quite a bit of color/coverage even with the first coat so I used my finger to blur the edges and remove a bit of the tint. The color reminded me of a shade called Lolly that I loved from the original blotted lips from Colourpop.
