Hydrating and comfortable on lips

I got this gloss balm in Espresso Velvet and it's such a beautiful warm reddish-brown shade that's super flattering on the lips. It doesn't really have a noticeable scent, so there's no weird taste at all. The formula feels really hydrating and comfortable, not sticky, and gives a nice glossy finish with a hint of color. It also layers well over lip liner or lipstick without feeling heavy. For the price, it's a great affordable option, and there a handful of pretty tints to choose from. I would absolutely recommend this product!

I absolutely love this lip gloss, I have been wanting the Rhode one for a while but have been hesitant because of the price, this is even better! The color I got is Espresso velvet and it is the most beautiful dark neutral . I don’t love overly pink lip colors and this has just a touch of red undertone with mostly a neutral brown. The formula itself is so great, it is not sticky or tacky at all . It’s super smooth and smells like vanilla . The packaging is really cute I love that the color of the tube is reflecting what color the product is. It’s a thin compact tube easy to store anywhere. It’s really hydrating and stays on for quite a while even when drinking and eating.

I am loving this gloss, it’s hydrating and feels so soft and smooth on the lips but gives that glossy look which is great! It’s perfect size to fit in any bag or pocket to have on hand all the time, it’s my new FAV gloss absolutely love love love it I also feel like the espresso velvet color was the perfect shade for my lips, just adds a little pigment without looking like it is too much!

This product surprised me in a great way! At first I was unsure because the applicator for the balm is plastic. I find that it can be harder to apply this way, but it ended up not being too terrible. I really enjoy the texture of this balm. It was thick and creamy formula, but not at all sticky while still looking super glossy on my lips. The color was the perfect brown shade and wasn't too sheer. Overall my lips felt hydrated for a few hours before having to reapply product. I will definitely be using this often.

Amazing balm!

I really liked this gloss balm. Light and pleasant texture, moisturizes lips well and gives a beautiful natural shine. It is not sticky, comfortable to wear during the day and looks neat on the lips. Convenient format, easy to take with you in your bag. A great option for daily use, especially when you want soft care and light radiance.

Quick Wear

I tried the Sephora Coloful Gloss Balm in the color Espresso Velvet, the shade on my very pale lips is a MLBB(my lips but better) shade. The color looks pretty dark when you squeeze it out of the tube, but it’s pretty sheer when applied. It has a pleasant vanilla sugar cookie scent to it, but after you apply it on the lips, it has this floral perfume taste that I didn’t like, for that I docked one star. It’s moisturizing when first applied, but it goes away quickly, layering the balm also doesn’t darken the color much. Overall I was a little underwhelmed with the product as a color gloss balm, especially compared to some of the more popular ones in the market now. Probably would be great for teens who are asking for their first makeup.

Good not great

I received this as part of an educational promotion. This is a nice balm, but I’m not wowed. The color payoff is initially outstanding, but it fades very quickly. In addition, it’s quite sticky. That being said, it does protect and nourish my lips as a balm should, so I’m not panning it by any means. Not great, but not bad at all.

New staple lip balm!

*received as part of an educational promotion* 5/5 stars!!! This price point is incredible for such a lux product. The gloss is not too sticky but is still thick, and hydrates very well. It lasted over 5+ hours while I was running errands and my lips felt very hydrated even after drinking and the balm coming off. The gloss balm does have a slight vanilla scent which I didn’t mind at all, I received the shade 05 espresso velvet in warm terracotta. I usually only select cool tone products but this shade actually worked very well for me. My only note is that this product is advertised as being “plumping” but I didn’t experience any burning sensation and my lips still felt luscious but no “plump” like you would see in other similar products.

Pretty everyday gloss balm with a flattering tint
