I tried the Olaplex No.3+ Bond Repair Treatment and it’s good, just not an instant wow. The first use didn’t impress me much, but after a few uses my hair felt softer, stronger, and less damaged at the ends. I like that it actually helps repair instead of just coating the hair. Only downside is you need to use a good amount and be patient to see results. Overall, solid product but not a miracle overnight

Made my hair shiny!

I am very pleased with my experience with the reformulated Olaplex! This made my hair look shinier, and made my dry curls feel softer and stronger. I've used Olaplex in the past and I was pleasantly surprised that this did wonders for my hair. I have tight coily curls and low porosity hair and this is a must have.

Good for dry, curly hair

I really enjoyed the Olaplex No.3 plus! It’s an easy addition to the shower and makes my very dry (in desperate need of a haircut) 3a curls much softer. It doesn’t seem to weigh my hair down or leave any film, which I also appreciated. The scent is the usual Olaplex fragrance, inoffensive but doesn’t linger in my hair after washing. I used it in conjunction with the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, then styled with a Denman brush, the Ouidad curl gel, and the Sol de Janeiro hair milk, and my hair feels soft and manageable, but not to the point of creating frizz (see before and after photos). My hair is starting to break a fair amount at the ends and the no. 3 seems to help mitigate brittleness and keep my split ends hanging on a little longer. Overall, a very easy product that will likely last a while even in the 3.3 oz size if you use it every other wash or every 3 washes, and helpful for preventing breakage. Just okay

I never tried the previous formulation so I can’t compare them but my overall impression was that I was not wowed by the results. My hair felt shinier and smoother compared to not using it but for the price point, I feel there are better products for less. It smells expensive and is not overpowering. The consistency is pancake batter thickness and spreads nicely throughout the hair. A little product goes a long way. If you get it as a gift or don’t mind the price point- I say go for it!

good for breakage, but not the best for fine hair

This product was super easy to use! I applied it right away in the shower and then would do other parts of my routine while it sat in my hair before rinsing it out. A little also goes a long way with this product! It had a nice, light scent and washed out easily. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I did not notice a huge difference in my hair after using this product. I have fine, straight hair, so it might work better for other hair types. I recommend this product if your hair suffers from breakage though! I received this product for free as part of an educational promotion.

I have used this a few times and I have to say I do like the way it makes ly hair feel stronger and softer. It does not have a weird smell to me. I like how fast it works and that you get a hood amount for the price. The technology makes it worth the price. I dont think you could really see the difference in these pictures, but my hair is softer, cleaner and once styled, is less frizzy. I used to use the 10 minute one and loved it so 3 mins is truly even better. I will continue to buy this and follow up with the shampoo and conditioner!

Good but not exceptional for curls

I think I have a unique perspective when it comes to this product for review my hair is chemically straightened however I have natural 4 type hair growing in at the root! I’ll say that the product had a very nice scent Olaplex products always smell very nice and have good slip. Using a pre-poo or a pre-shampoo treatment is beneficial in my opinion, but this product in particular I feel only did good on the straight portions of my hair and not so much for the curlier roots at the top. I definitely need something that reaches the depth of my curls when necessary I found that on the curly parts of my hair that need a retouch on a relaxer didn’t absorb the product well and I ended up having to use more on top of mixing with water once I completed my wash with some other Olaplex shampoo and conditioner I can’t say I noticed a major difference. The straight portions of my hair were soft and fluffier after but I didn’t notice a major difference than if I had did my normal wash routine. I received this item as a part of a incentivized trial but I cant say that I would purchase the number 3. I would recommend this product to those who have looser curls or straight hair maybe anything 3A to 1. In my second picture for my review, you can see where the product was completely absorbed on the straighter portions of my hair, but not so much when it came to the curly top. So my rating would be 5/5 for straight hair 3/5 for curls because he will definitely need a more dense product with a bit more slip for curls/coils.

Decent hair treatment

I’ve been using this product for about 1 week. Overall, the product is decent. My hair is smoother and shinier compared to before. It doesn’t feel much different to a normal conditioner. The consistency is about “pancake batter” thickness and spreads evenly into hair. This makes a little product go a long way even for thick haired girlies. It does smell amazing but not over powering like other treatments. For the price of the product and what it does, I feel there are comparable items for cheaper. I never tried the previous formulation so I can’t quite compare the difference on that.

My New Must Have Haircare Product!

This was my first time trying an Olaplex product. I must say I was very pleased with this pre-shampoo. I used this on my wash day along with other shampoo and conditioner products I use. I put my hair in sections and saturated all sections, my hair is long so I wanted to ensure every strand was coated. I let the product sit for the 3 minutes as stated on the bottle. I then rinsed and completed my routine. I blow dried then straightened my hair. My hair felt really good and soft, very easy to style. Bond repair is very important to me. So this product will be added to my routine moving forward.

I will buy again and again

It really works—I love the effect on my hair! I have porous, light-colored hair and live in a dry climate, so without moisture my hair feels like straw. I applied Olaplex B&A No.3 Plus Complete Repair Treatment very generously to my hair before washing. The only thing I didn’t like was that it’s hard to distribute evenly along the entire length—I dampened my brush, which made it easier. Even during washing, my hair felt very smooth to the touch. The scent is very delicate and not overpowering. The hair cuticles smoothed down and my hair became shiny, and the styling turned out great. However, 100 ml is not enough for me—it lasted only 7 days with daily use.

The 3-minute treatment I applied liberally on my wet hair was a quick and easy repair that left my hair nourished and repaired. It is good for all hair types, so it worked well for my thin, fine hair. My hair felt softer, the strands strengthened, and my overall look was shinier. This formula helped after one use, but I felt my hair get stronger the more I used this transforming treatment. As I age, my hair is thinning.
