This was supposed to be radiant. It’s an oil slick. I have dry, mature skin and just wanted to try this one. Absolutely awful. I tried thin application, medium, drench, far, close, you name it. No go.

Beautiful Soft Dewy Finish

Better than Charlotte Tilbury to be honest. It gives a beautiful soft dewy finish to your skin. It’s not too much and it stays that way even after doing sports. I have sensitive combination skin and it doesn’t cause me to break out.

Travel Friendly!

So happy this comes in a travel size! Best setting spray hands down! Makeup looks airbrushed and is set all day,

Good formula but bad atomizer. Not repurchasing it

I have dry skin and have been using the Charlotte Tilburg Airbrush Flawless & Hydrating Setting Spray for years. I love it! Recently I saw some very good reviews of this Hourglass setting. Saying how hydrating and blurring for dry skin. They are true! Very hydrating and blurring. Actually even more blurring than the Charlotte Tilbury one but I hate its atomizer. It occasionally (not always) would spit big drops onto my face and causing disruptions of my makeup. When it doesn’t spit, it does provide fine mist tho. Kind of taking a risk every time I use it. It’s also not as long lasting as the Charlotte Tilbury one and costs more than CT per oz. So I don’t think I would repurchase it unless they improve the atomizer and will keep using the CT one

Spray doesn't come out after half bottle.

the spray itself is great and I love the ultrafine mist compared to other brands. But the nozzle stop working all of the sudden and there is no more spray coming out. I still have half bottle left. it is frustrating. Since ti is a pressurized can so I can't really open it to switch the bottle.

Bring back the original bottle!!!

I used to love this setting spray, but ever since they changed the bottle and nozzle, I can’t stand it. The formula seems to be the same, but it’s no longer a fine mist, as the nozzle spits out large droplets now. I thought maybe there was just an issue with the bottle I had bought, so I bought a second bottle and had the same issues with it. Also, it spit the product as soon as I started using it, so it’s not like this started happening when I was low on product. I really wish they wouldn’t have changed the packaging because I love this formula, but without the fine mist it’s not worth it.

Glass skin effect

A fabulous setting spray that gives a dewy, almost glossy, skin like finish. It melts powder seamlessly into the skin and makes everything look smooth and natural. The mist is incredibly soft and fine, lightweight and hydrating. It truly makes your skin look like skin. There is a shine to the finish, so I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin types, but for my dry skin it works beautifully to create that glass-skin effect.

Was not impressed. I felt like it was too light and did not hold my makeup.

The worst setting spray I have ever tried

100% a NO. It leaves my face all oily and sticky, doesn't set make-up at all. The worst setting spray I have ever tried in my life.

Decent but not my fave

I like this setting spray but it’s not my fave! I still like charlotte tilbury or one/size a little more!

Best for a natural, dewy finish

Hourglass has been my favorite setting spray after trying many of the other popular brands. It’s a light, refreshing mist and instantly gives my skin a dewy look while flawlessly blending my entire face of makeup. I took away one star because the larger 4 oz bottle is no longer available.

A possible contender

Was sad that i couldnt make a purchases for the biggest bottle as Sephora dont bring back popular stock quickly or enough of it so i settled for the medium size. Once again am on the hunt for the perfect base so this means i need to most perfect setting spray to go with. At the moment this seem good enough to co sider repurchaseing but ill have to clarify that after a few more tests.
