Lightweight, long-lasting, and perfect for summer!

The formula is beautiful and blends out effortlessly, whether you apply it over foundation before or after setting with powder. A little truly goes a long way, so you don't need much to get a gorgeous flush of color. The shade Violet Vice$ is stunning. It's super versatile too. I can see this working beautifully in the center of the lips or even as part of an eyeshadow look. It lasts all day without fading, and the lightweight feel makes it perfect for summer, especially for those no-makeup makeup days when you just want a pop of color. For the chocolate girls, this shade is going to look amazing on you, but honestly it complements a wide range of skin tones. Love the color

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I usually love these types of buildable products and this color is typically the types of shades I like especially when they go on sheer and are buildable. But recently my skin has been super dry and dehydrated and overall uncooperative. I am in my forties so I might just be having a rough mature skin moment. I do really enjoy this on my lips though. I put on my favorite lip balm product and then dab some dots of this on and it blends out nice. I might have to get a nice balmy product and apply that to my cheeks and then try this again because my usual skin care is not caring for this product. It ends up staining my skin in the application spot, by the time I start blending it out it's uneven. Everything else about the product is just okay. Don't really have any complaints but I'm also not super in love with it. I think it is mostly just being affected by needing to work with it a little more to get it to work. There are a couple of the other shades that I'd love to try because the colors themselves are so pretty.

Addicted to blush

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been enjoying my journey using various forms of blush. Violet Vices is this beautiful jewel tone purple, it appears intimidating but the flush of color can be good for many skin tones. The more I apply the color never becomes over powering. There's transference but the color will last alone and layers well with powder. The product blends into the skin and if you like a satin or dewy look this will do pretty well.

Gorgeous

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a gorgeous formula with amazing color pay off. The formula is lightweight and buildable if more intense color is desired. It plays well with my other products, and looks great on the lips for a wash of color. The packaging is sleek and not too bulky, the sponge applicator picks up the perfect amount of product for me! Overall, I really do love it.

Insane pigment

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really love this liquid blush’s packaging, I t’s small and compact. The pigment is insane! You just need one tiny drop of the blush, it was a little bit hard to blend for me because I initially didn’t know how much pigment it had but once you play around with it, you’ll realize you don’t need a lot. I noticed it did last for quiet few hours, and you don’t need to reapply!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love purple tone and berry blushes and this Fenty Shake ‘N Play in Violet Vice$ is stunning! I was a little scared at first since it looks like a very deep red in the bottle, but don’t let that fool you, when it is blended out on skin it add a rich transparent buildable violet blackberry. I find this very unique as many purple blushes have that white chalky base, this one doesn’t and I think that makes it great for all skin tones. Great pigmentation, I do one dot using the sponge applicator which I find super convenient to get a good amount of product, and then I blend it out with a brush and it really gives a great flush. Love it, my new go-to blush for a cute everyday look!

Sheer color with potential

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was excited to have picked purple w/o knowing it was Fenty because they'd done such a good job with a prior lighter purple blush they took away that I had high hopes for this product since I missed out last time. The bottle is a cute design with a mixer ball within that is smart for ensuring product stays properly mixed. The applicator is a round sponge-like texture. There is no smell and the texture is a light and smooth liquid. The tone of the product appears darker in the bottle but once applied, it is significally lighter than it appears and is a kind of deep lilac on the skin. In the picture with dots, all three look the same even though each dot as you move to the right has one more dot of blush than the one before it. No real difference seen. It takes about five dots of blush to get the coverage you see in the pictures: I think the product fails there because it shouldn't take that much for color to finally show up where it can be seen and even then it's a light flush of color. With inside lighting it can barely be seen, but outside it shows up better. However, it is still very light on the skin. Proper primer and foundation is needed to possibly bring it out more and make it look more appealing on the skin as without it, the blush highlights skin texture and appears more as bruising than blush. It also wipes off easily with a tissue and altogether with a makeup remover wipe so setting spray is a must. It doesn’t last long on the skin so reapplication is necessary if wearing more than an hour or two. This blush is not for people who enjoy a full face but even for those who love a minimal look or no makeup at all, while it is great for that crowd, it could stand a bit more tweaking to ensure it meets the worthiness of its potentially pricey price point.

Unfortunately the shade swatch online, without being seen on actual skin tones, made the shade a bit misleading. It looked like it was a vibrant, cool berry purple. But when I opened the package, it is actually a very deep reddish-purple berry shade. I fall between light to medium skin tone, and while it can be worn on lighter skin, it doesn’t look flattering.

Very pigmented!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was so excited when I received this liquid blush. The little rounded felt tip allows for a precise application. The blush is very pigmented, so start with two dots first. Then if you desire more, add more dots. You can blend it easy with your fingers, but I prefer using a fluffy brush. I love the color I choose. It’s a wine color that goes so well with my dark hair and skin tone.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I liked Fenty’s new blush and thought it was a cute idea. The way this product dispenses is new to me and it is honestly pretty cool. It was very easy to apply and the berry color is beautiful. You could absolutely build this formula up but one dot was perfect for me. In terms of the formula itself, it’s nothing new.
