I’ve been testing the Anastasia Beverly Hills foundation and I’m impressed. The coverage is buildable, the finish looks smooth and blurred and it feels surprisingly lightweight on the skin. It gives a soft matte look

Feels great!

I love the feel of the Impeccable Blurring Second Skin Foundation. It feels like I’m wearing nothing and I don’t notice it leaving traces on clothes and such. It removes with makeup wipes and cleansers. It blends well. My issue is that it takes some layering to hide my imperfections and the result is cakey. My pores, lines and dark spots show through just one or two applications. I think the shade recommended was too dark, but a lighter color wouldn’t cover. It lasts for several hours with just a few spots shining through.

Nice foundation

This has great coverage while not looking heavy. It lasts very well and is easy to layer. It wears great throughout the day and doesn’t oxidize on my skin. It doesn’t feel too heavy or cakey.

ABH Impeccable Blurring Second-Skin Matte Foundation

I really wanted to love this unconditionally, and honestly? It comes so close. The texture is the first thing that got me — it's one of those liquid-to-powder situations that glides on like nothing and genuinely lives up to the "second-skin" claim. I used a damp sponge and it practically melted in. The blurring effect is real, not just marketing fluff. Pores looked softened, fine lines kind of faded into the background, and my skin just looked smoother without that heavy cakey feeling a lot of matte foundations bring. Shade range is solid — I found a pretty seamless match (though as always with ABH, I'd recommend swatching in person if you can because the undertones can pull a little tricky depending on the number). The finish is this gorgeous soft matte that doesn't flatten your face into a pancake. There's still a hint of life and dimension to it. Now the 4-star part: wear time on my combo skin was impressive for about 6-7 hours, but by hour 8 I started noticing it breaking apart just slightly around my nose and chin. It's not a disaster — it fades gracefully rather than going patchy — but if you need something that truly goes the distance for a 12-hour day, you'll probably want to set it strategically and maybe carry a powder. Also, it can cling to dry patches if you don't moisturize well underneath, so skin prep is non-negotiable. Overall, for everyday wear where you want that filtered-skin look without the weight, this is a standout. Just know its limits on longevity and you'll get along great with it.

Full coverage

Such a wonderful product. This foundation is one of my favorites. The only reason why I gave it a four star it’s because the shade is not my match but it may be when I tan or use it as a bronzer. It is definitely full coverage and it doesn’t patch. I did try it on and testing it lasted for hours. It has a normal foundation scent that doesn’t smell strong or floral but a bit medicinal. Overall, great foundation, it applies easily by brush, beauty blender, or hand.

Buildable and highly pigmented

Very buildable and highly pigmented!! The color matches my olive skin tone perfectly. A little goes a long way. Very smooth and matte finish. Overall very good foundation.

i tried the Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation an while ch chose the wrong stage. The color wasn't quite right for me, but beside from that, I was really impressed with the long lasting how was and how smoothly it stayed on my skin throughout the day. It gave a beautiful matte finish and blurred my skin nicely.

Love this foundation it looks so beautiful on my skin. It definitely gave that blurring second skin mat. Look which I absolutely loved and it didn’t crease or get too cakey.

Blurring effect helps soften pores, textures, fine lines. If you are you make sure to get with a water based primer. Serving blurred , flawless, second skin energy. The Anastasia impeccable foundation has my skin looking airbrushed without feeling heavy. Soft matte, full confidence, all day wear.

Covers rosacea and redness

If you have red undertones or rosacea this foundation will cover your redness beautifully. The texture is so smooth and skin like. The formula is thicker but I do appreciate a full coverage foundation. The packaging is sleek and beautiful.

Good value and texture

I absolutely loved this product! It has a rich, dense texture that provides full coverage for any facial imperfections. For my skin type, it’s especially effective in winter when my skin is less oily. During the summer, it didn’t quite work as well, but on cold days, it was perfect. The tone perfectly matched my skin tone, and I didn’t need to use a lot of product to achieve a flawless finish.

Lightweight, beautiful matte finish!

This is one of the best matte foundations I’ve ever tried! I have acne prone, combination skin with neutral undertone and it tends to be oilier in the T-zone in the summer. This foundation has a great coverage and doesn’t feel heavy at all. It covers my imperfections so well while not looking cakey. Highly recommend to those who love matte finish and foundations that wouldn’t transfer in hot weather!
