saved my life like actually

i’m actually so impressed - i never write reviews, but this saved my hair. i got my hair lightened and my hair was practically destroyed but 3 uses of this made it feel so healthy again. it was brittle, dry, and stretchy and this brought it back to normal (:

New formula is heavy

Not a fan of the new formula. I have fine hair and this is too heavy. Bring back the old formula please.

Not a fan of this new Plus formula!

This Olaplex 3 Plus is awful! Olaplex 3 was my favorite of the Olaplex line and I could not be more disappointed with the new formula. My hair used to look amazing and the new formula makes my hair so flat and soft to a bizarre level that it won't even hold a curl. Why change a perfect formula.

Made my hair poofy and frizzy

Both the original formula and the new formula acted the same on my hair. Made it very poopy and frizzy and the next time I washed my hair it was super tangly. I tried to return it actually, but I was a couple days shy of the 30 days so they would not take it back, but I will not be real purchasing this product. I really disliked it. 

Worked well!

Before I started styling my hair regularly, I used to have very low porosity hair, meaning my hair dried very very slowly. Since styling my hair to enhance my waves and curls, though, its porosity was noticeably higher, my hair drying out a lot faster than it used to - a sign that it was becoming damaged. Hence why I wanted to try out Olaplex No.3, since I heard good reviews about it. I wanted to get the original version but the site was out, so I got this one instead. The first time I used it, I already saw marked improvements on my hair. After three more uses, I feel like my hair has returned to its original porosity. I can definitely say that this works really well. Biggest downside is that it doesn't have any slip to it, so trying to comb it through hair is really difficult and takes forever. After the first time I used it, I would attempt to detangle my hair in the shower before applying the treatment. This helped a little, but it's still a pain.

No longer an old faithful

This new formula kinda sucks. It doesn’t have the slip the old one had, which makes it hard to work with for a pre-poo. I used to love pre-pooing with this because it made my hair feel really good.

PLEASE bring back the old formula! This one makes my hair extremely greasy by day 2. The old one was perfect for us fine hair girls. I’ve used it multiple times to give it a shot but it sucks every time I’m so disappointed

Exceptional performance

I have been using the Olaplex No.3 so this upgraded version is a must try. This formula is more conditioning and the added bonus is that you only need to leave it on for 3 minutes, compared to 10 before. I have heavily bleached hair and this is the only thing that would repair the quality of hair. It’s not a conditioner, it actually repair your hair from the inside and nothing compares this repair power. It worth every penny.

If your hair is dry, damaged, bleached, or feeling brittle, the Olaplex treatment mask is honestly one of the better bond-repair masks out there for adding softness and shine without making hair feel super heavy. The biggest thing people notice is smoother hair, less frizz, and healthier-looking ends after a few uses. It’s especially popular for color-treated hair.

Best hair product I’ve ever tried

Simply put: the best hair product I’ve ever tried. People ask me all the time if I coloured my hair cause it looks so nice. All that because this treatment gives just crazy shine. My hair looks healthy and soft and shiny. The price hurts but it’s so worth it if you can afford it.

My hair is pretty healthy but this made a noticeable difference in all the best ways the next day. Soft, shiny, held its style longer. Great product
