good formula and is very water proof. the issue is it’s TOO waterproof. when I was using it, i’d have to use two to three cleansers to fully remove the mascara and id still have black smudges under my eyes the next morning

Love the brush, don’t love the mascara

My favourite mascara ever was Bad Gal by Benefit, and a big part of that was the brush was amazing giving full coverage, but they changed the brush (and maybe the formula) and now it’s just clumpy. The brush on this mascara is exactly what I was looking for and is perfect for separating lashes. It’s never been clumpy for me but I don’t feel like I get the same volume and lengthening as from other mascaras.

Packaging is cute and suckered me in, 2 sages for volume and It’s technically useable, but it’s so flaky as if its already dried out. So misleading because it seems fine until you put it on. Not waterproof either which is literally the whole point. Idk if the formula is off or what. Super disappointing and I ended up returning. Don’t buy this…

My favourite mascara

Time and time again, I purchase this product because it holds a curl. I have long, thick, straight lashes which struggle to stay curled all day and require a strong waterproof formula. I feel as though there is a lengthening aspect though it is not described that way.

SKIPPP!!!!

i love the drama and volume this gives to my lashes! but it sucks that no matter what it always transfers bad to my lids. i get this with any mascara bc my eyelids are oily. however at most ill get a few faded black dots with my drugstore mascara! with this one it even gets all over my under eyes too. transfer is crazy so i will not be purchasing full size. i also have hooded eyes in case you’re in the same boat.

My go-to product everytime

I personally love this one, but there are some specifics to it that make it work. I can understand why many people don't like it but this is what works for me. Also of note, I have long eyelashes, skin that is oily in summer and dry in winter, and I get teary enough that waterproof is the only option for me. 1) Before applying, I always wipe off the excess from the brush back into the tube as it always overloads the wand. 2) I apply it only to the top lash and I ignore any clumping if it happens while I apply it, just put enough on that all my eyelashes are coated and they are relatively even. 3) Then I wet my index fingers and push up on my lashes and essentially running my fingers over them from the root up and any clumps or chunks come off your lashes while you do this. Yes, some of the mascara comes off, but with this stuff, that's okay-you usually have too much on (which I believe is why people get so much smudging). 4) Let them dry- don't do too much until they dry or it will for sure smudge. To remove it, in my experience only one product works perfectly (Lancôme Bi-Facil Makeup Remover). That product is expensive but you just need a bit and it will instantly dissolve the mascara. I've recently tried the Neutrogena Oil-Free Makeup Remover and it works pretty well too. That said, your traditional make up remover cleanser or wipe won't likely take it off and you'll wake up with big racoon eyes.

Tried to replace it-can’t

Only mascara that holds the curl for me. Haven’t experienced smudging and have tear tested with no issues. One star off because like wine it gets better with age.

Misses the spot altogether

Person who named this “better than s.e.x” needs to change partners or positions…. It’s clumpy, crumbly and application is super messy with the big bristles. In this case, size does matter and no bigger isn’t better. You’ll be wearing this all over your kids and under your eyes.

Best mascara ive tried

Absolutely amazing. I love this mascara and it’s my go to. I applied at Friday and went camping and forgot make up remover. Surprisingly, it lasted until Sunday without flaking off. My absolute go to

Good but not great

Better than sex (the original) is my fav mascara of all time. However this one isn’t quite as good and it’s not fully waterproof. I’ll stick to the original.
